1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by The Autocar Storage Co. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services
The Autocar Storage Co provides secure vehicle storage services in Cambridgeshire. Services include indoor storage, monitored premises, and agreed access arrangements.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and safe unless otherwise agreed
- Provide accurate contact and ownership details
- Maintain valid insurance for the stored vehicle
- Remove all valuables from the vehicle prior to storage
4. Storage Agreement
- Storage begins once the vehicle is received and confirmed by us
- Minimum storage periods and fees will be agreed in advance
- Vehicles may only be collected or accessed by prior arrangement
5. Fees & Payment
- All storage fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed
- Late payments may result in restricted access to the vehicle
- We reserve the right to charge additional fees for overdue accounts
6. Liability
- While reasonable care is taken, vehicles are stored at the owner’s risk
- The Autocar Storage Co is not liable for loss or damage caused by:
- Fire, theft, or natural events beyond our control
- Mechanical or electrical failure
- Pre-existing vehicle conditions
7. Insurance
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is adequately insured during storage.
8. Access
- Access to vehicles is strictly by appointment
- We reserve the right to refuse access if safety or operational concerns arise
9. Termination
We may terminate storage agreements if:
- Payments are not made
- Terms are breached
- Vehicles are deemed unsafe
Customers may terminate by providing reasonable notice.
10. Uncollected Vehicles
If a vehicle remains uncollected after termination or non-payment, we reserve the right to take reasonable steps to recover costs, including legal action.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
